Progression and Completion

Take charge of your progress toward graduation by participating in events about major certification, decision-making, and academic exploration.

Each semester, you will have the opportunity to connect with academic advisors and faculty mentors in regularly scheduled seminars, workshops, and planning sessions. Summer Registration

Summer is an opportunity like no other to engage deeper in your studies through smaller class sizes, diversify your skillset, and prepare to tackle the next big challenge ahead.

Whether you are a current student enrolled at any one of the WSU campuses or a visiting student from another college or university, you can take courses to stay on track for graduation, focus on a difficult course, or retake a course. Also, all students pay in-state tuition for the summer, so you may be able to save money.

Registration for Summer 2024 courses begins on March 4, 2024, and is open through the beginning of each session. There are no summer advising holds, but please be sure to discuss summer enrollment plans with your advisor.

Prevent Registration Delays

Meet your advisor before your enrollment date. To see what day and time you can begin enrolling, look under “Enrollment Dates,” located on the right side of your Student Center page.

Resolve holds. Holds are displayed on the right side of your Student Center page. Select the “Details” link to see what impact a hold has and what action is needed.

You will register online through myWSU, but can add classes to your Shopping Cart as soon as the Schedule of Classes is posted. Once your appointment time arrives and any holds are released, you will be able to submit your Shopping Cart. IMPORTANT! You are not officially enrolled until you click on “FINISH ENROLLING.”

Have you applied to graduate?

Once you have applied for graduation, you will not be able to register for any courses that begin after your expected graduation date. If you need additional coursework to graduate, or if you are planning to pursue additional studies beyond graduation, please contact your advisor to change your graduation date and/or status.
