Preparing for Your Visit

Located in the heart of Washington wine country on the eastern side of Washington State, the Tri-Cities is a mid-sized metropolitan area that consists of three neighboring cities: Kennewick, Pasco and Richland. The Tri-Cities is surrounded by the joining of the Yakima, Snake and Columbia rivers. The Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau can help you locate area accommodations, restaurants, attractions and fun things to do during your stay.

Need recommendations on where to stay during your visit? Don’t hesitate to ask us for a recommendation. There are many hotels located in the Tri-Cities area, however if you are wanting to stay close to campus we recommend staying in Richland.

WSU Tri-Cities does not require parking permits to park on campus. Any available parking spot can accommodate visiting guests.

Campus tours will include walking outside, so please wear comfortable shoes. If you need accommodations to make the most out of your tour, please let us know when registering. Be aware of current weather conditions and dress accordingly.
