Strawberry Dream

Spring 2021 Fine Arts Exhibit
A single strawberry, painted using thick spots of reds, oranges, pinks, and white

About This Project

‘Strawberry Dream’ was a new style for me when I completed it last Fall. My painting journey has been a wild ride, but this exploration of a single strawberry was a highlight for me in class. I was mesmerized by the texture and color play both within the berry and the contrasting soft blue background. I adore the final piece and have returned to it many times as a source of inspiration for other pieces. I named it upon the realization that even a single berry can become a magical memory if it is given the chance.
