An IT Project at WSU Tri-Cities is defined if it meets at least one of the following criteria. Regular requests (desktop support, printing, network access, etc.) can be submitted as a help desk ticket:
- Work will require more than 20 hours of IT time;
- One-time funding has been secured for the project;
- Work will significantly impact another department, division, or operation;
- Involves changes to or development of IT policies or standards; or
- Acquisition of a 3rd party online service to perform business on behalf of the system
