About This Project

My art piece was inspired by living things that are in almost everyone’s household. I’m a lover of plants and all things nature so I really wanted to include fun, amazing plants and a couple fruits. I also really wanted to show contrast in my drawing so certain things would stand out more then others. The plaid cloth that everything is sitting on was out of my comfort zone, but I really enjoyed how it created separation within my piece. I think my favorite part of my drawing would be the leaves of the major plant in the back. They are really big in real life so interpreting that onto paper was very fun.
