Career Fair

WSU Tri-Cities offers one Career Fair a year, during fall semester. The Fair is open to WSU Tri-Cities students, alumni, and the general public.

The Career Fair offers students several programming components throughout the day, as well as opportunities to help students prepare and navigate the Fair.

10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Open to students, alumni, and general public

Professional Fashion Showcase

Professional Fashion Showcase

Date Will Be Announced Soon!

This annual event helps students learn how to dress in various styles of professional attire throughout their career.  The show features male and female students, faculty, and staff models.

Fashion Show:  Noon to 1 p.m.
Free hair and make-up consultations and pizza lunch” 1 to 2 p.m.

Highlights of the event include:

  • A tie-tying station to learn tying techniques using different types of ties
  • hair and make-up consultations
  • FREE pizza lunch with a soda fountain
  • Door prizes for students attending the event

This event is free and open to the campus community.

Professional Etiquette and Networking Dinner

Join us on March 29th for the Networking Reception and Etiquette Dinner. The Reception starts at 5:30 p.m. (Floyd Atrium) and the Etiquette Dinner starts at 6:45 p.m. (Student Union Building).

This annual event offers students a valuable professional development experience to polish their business dining etiquette and networking skills by practicing good table manners and social skills. Students will also gain real-world exposure to formal business settings with area professionals and community leaders.

If you are interested in participating in this event, you must attend on our “Etiquette 101” workshops held at various time throughout the month leading up to the event:

  • Wednesday, March 7, 3 to 4 p.m. (Floyd 244)
  • Tuesday, March 20, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. (Floyd 240)
  • Monday, March 26, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. (Floyd 244)

If you are unable to attend these workshops but are still interested in participating, please stop by and speak with a staff member in the Career Development Office, Floyd 140.

More details will be shared when you register for the reception and dinner.

Industry Tours

Join us March 12th-16th for Industry Tours, including an all-day event to Portland, OR.

These tours provide students a “behind-the-scenes” glimpse of companies so students can observe real workplace environments and professionals doing the jobs they aspire to or are considering in their career path.

The industry tours are open to all majors, but there is limited seating so don’t wait and reserve your spot today!
