Washington State is a premium wine-producing region located in the northwest corner of the United States. This module will prepare servers to share with guests the background and unique aspects of the wines and grape growing regions specific to the state of Washington.
Delivering great wine service for guests is crucial to the success of any tasting room. This module will provide guidelines on how to suggest, present, and serve wine, including techniques for suggestive selling of wines. Servers will learn skills that will help them better serve guests, but will also benefit the winery and improve revenue.

This module will discuss how to taste wine, serve wine flights, determine wine faults, as well as suggest great wine and food pairings to their guests.
