    • Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
    • Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Note: When any campus holiday falls on Friday or Monday, all campus buildings will be closed on Saturday.

Summer Session Hours

December Holiday Reduced Operations

During the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, only essential operations continue.  Campus buildings are closed and most services and operations are unavailable. After Hours Access

Access to all buildings after hours can be arranged subject to the “Access to Facilities” policy at https://tricities.wsu.edu/documents/2021/11/40-300-5-access-to-facilities-policy.pdf/.  The access request forms are accessible at https://tricities.wsu.edu/facilities/key-request/.  Any individual accessing campus after hours must carry a valid WSU ID card, a valid access key/card/fob, and must present both to Campus Security, Richland Police, or other campus authority upon request.

Admissions/Registration
     Monday–Friday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Bookstore

  • Monday–Friday: 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m

Campus Security – Cougar Cards, Keys, Lost & Found, Transit Passes

  • Staffed during all building hours, year-round

Cashier/Student Accounts

  • Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
  • Summer Hours:  7:30a.m.-4:00p.m, closed for lunch 12:00-12:30

Learning Commons 

  • Open access during all CIC building hours
  • Staff are available Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Library 

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: Closed
  • The library closes at 4:30 during Spring Break, Thanksgiving Break, and during the first week of Winter Break.  The library is closed between Christmas and the beginning of the spring semester.

Student Services – Access Services, Career Center, Counseling, Financial Aid & Scholarships, MOSAIC, and Student Support 

  • Monday–Friday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. or by appointment

WSU campuses are closed for holidays. 

No classes are held and business operations are closed for these days.  Campus holidays are as follows:

  • Veterans’ Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Native American Heritage Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Christmas Holiday (in lieu of Presidents’ Day)

Academic Holidays and Breaks

On Presidents’ Day (the 3rd Monday in February), no classes are held but campus buildings and operations are open regular hours.

When no classes are being held (during Spring Break, Thanksgiving Break, the Winter Break, and following the end of Summer Session),  campus buildings observe reduced hours, and normal business operations continue.  Dates of academic breaks can be viewed on the WSU Registrar’s Academic Calendar at https://registrar.wsu.edu/academic-calendar/.
