WSU Tri-Cities has been selected as one of nine college campuses to participate in the Learner Success Laboratory, hosted by the American Council on Education. ACE’s Learner Success Lab is an inclusive learning community that integrates evidence-based practices for life design, career readiness, and completion to help participating institutions develop a comprehensive strategy for learner success.

La Bienvenida is an orientation program offered completely in Spanish to help Latinx families achieve their college dream. Students and their families are able to learn about our resources on campus, make connections with Spanish-speaking staff and discover what it means to be part of our Coug community!

Dia de los Muertos
In collaboration with the MOSAIC Center, Dreamers Club and the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, WSU Tri-Cities holds an event celebrating Dia de los Muertos every year. Those who have passed are honored and celebrated with altars, live music and more.

Multicultural Graduation
Multicultural Graduation is an annual ceremony that recognize students and acknowledge their accomplishments in front of family members with no language barrier. Graduates are given traditional serape stoles to be worn at Commencement.

Women* of Distinction
The Women* of Distinction award recognizes students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members who have made notable contributions to the campus and their community through service, teaching, or involvement. This award is for people who identify as women and their allies, who have worked to elevate the status and equality of women.

The goal of the Equity Academy is to create tools and processes that help WSU Tri-Cities faculty and staff intentionally support students and decrease existing equity gaps (specifically as they relate to race, gender and first-gen status).
