The WSU Pullman Writing Program invites faculty to a panel discussion on “Academic English: From Theory to Practice.”
Dr. Victor Villanueva, Regents Professor, English & Director, Writing Program; Dr. Anne Marie Guerrettaz, Assistant Professor, Teaching &Learning; and Dr. Nancy Bell, Associate Professor, English will discuss academic English and academic language in relation to teaching and assessing writing.
They will provide a brief theoretical background and identify some practical strategies for practice in college classrooms.
The panel will be broadcast via AMS and all faculty are welcome.
