Soar into the exploration, design and testing of flying machines. Analyze why things fly or fail by studying successes and failures in flight technology. Design and test propellers and wings. Apply concepts of force, trajectory, and energy while launching projectiles using air, water, and chemical propellants. Create catapults, slingshots and rockets as you learn about the science behind flight. Develop your skills while exploring physics and aerodynamics, including laws of gravity and motion. Build and launch your own reusable, solid-fueled 2-stage rocket that can carry a payload over 1000 feet.
