Summer STEM Camp Relaunch Summer 2023!
Our Summer STEM Camp returns this year from June 26 – 30. The camp will be available for students that are currently in grades three to grade five and is part of a partnership between WSU Tri-Cities and the STEM Nexus Foundation. Teachers from local schools will be participating in professional development activities the week before the camp to learn new and innovative strategies to teach STEM content to students and then use those best practices to instruct the summer camp program.
About the WSU Tri-Cities Summer STEM Camps
Summer STEM Camps at WSU Tri-Cities are designed to be relevant, challenging, and fun! Because of this, educating students using current advancements in science and technology is the key to our curriculum. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education plays an increasingly important role in the United States, and we want to prepare students to meet the demand for the growing number of STEM-related careers today and in the future. The Tri-Cities is one of the best places in the country for STEM graduates (NerdWallet, 2016) and our WSU campus is ready with resources to get our local youth ready for these careers.
Each student receives the type of instruction that equips, motivates and inspires them to continue solving complex, yet practical problems.

Stay on George Washington Way north until you reach the traffic light on University Drive. Go east at the light and then turn right on Crimson Way until you get to the large parking lot in front of Collaboration Hall located on the south end of the parking lot.
