U.S. DOE Regional Science Bowl, East & West Buildings

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Regional Science Bowl is being held at WSU Tri-Cities on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Competition starts at 8 a.m. and ends at about 5 p.m., throughout the West and East buildings – including the East Auditorium.

We welcome 21 teams from about 12 high schools throughout the region, for a total of about 250 people throughout the day. The students are quizzed on all the sciences, from astronomy to physics. The champion team gets an all-expense paid trip to D.C. for the national competition April 24-18.
