MME Seminar Series – “How to do a Project” – with Lance Doyle

Abstract

In order to successfully complete a project, there are a number of steps
that must be taken. The goal of this presentation is to help you identify
those steps. The process starts with a concept and goes through initial
production. Lessons learned from over 40 years in the industry are
discussed.

Bio

Lance Doyle
Electronics Engineer/Mfg Engineer
Bruker Nano Analytics

Lance has been doing engineering and design work since 1974 working
for companies with 1 to 4,000+ employees. The products he has been
involved with range from X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometers, Spaceborne
Tape Recorders, weather instrumentation, and robotic tape libraries for
medium to large computer systems. While his focus is in electronics, he
has also done tool and die design. He holds 2 patents for his work in Road
Condition Sensors for snow & ice control.
