The discussion will dive into the history of the Hanford Site from the end of World War II through the signing of the Tri-Party Agreement in 1989. The first part of Hanford history was covered in the Department of Ecology’s May event. A recording is available to watch.
Robert Franklin, assistant director and archivist of the WSU Tri-Cities Hanford History Project, is slated to join the live conversation, along with Ginger Wireman, Ryan Miller, and Daina McFadden from the Department of Ecology’s Nuclear Waste Program.
