The film, Iron Jawed Angels, is presented by the History Department in commemoration of the centennial anniversary for the passage of the 19th Amendment granting woman suffrage in the United States. The film tells the story of fiery American suffragette Alice Paul, who lights a fire under the veteran leaders in New York. President Wilson initially ignored woman suffrage but later supported it. Paul preparing to go to prison, decides to fight for her cause.
