Fund the Future 5K Run, 9:30 a.m., behind East/West buildings

The Fund the Future 5K is hosted by the Associated Students of Washington State University Tri-Cities.

The walk/run is utilized as a fundraiser to bring awareness to higher education affordability. All proceeds go toward book stipends for WSU Tri-Cities students, in order to alleviate additional costs.

The registration opens at 8 a.m.
The Kids 50-Yard Dash begins at 9:30 a.m.
The 5K follows the Kids Dash.
$10 students, $17 public,$15 alumni, $10 kids 6-12, kids 5 and under free

This is open to the public, students, and alumni to come run or walk this event, raising money for book stipends for students this coming fall. All proceeds will be donated to the book stipend fund. This even includes an exciting 5K run for all ages, a kids’ 50 yard dash, a bounce house, a live stream broadcast from MIX 105.3 and a spaghetti feed to follow the run! It is going to be an amazing day filled with fun and friends.
