April 29: Public invited to WSU Tri-Cities town hall focusing on community partnerships and regional planning

RICHLAND, Wash. – Members of the public are invited to a presentation and discussion on Monday, April 29, in the Washington State University Tri-Cities East Auditorium on the future of WSU Tri-Cities and how it should partner with organizations throughout the mid-Columbia region and beyond.

The event is one of several town hall meetings that will occur throughout the next several months that welcome public feedback as part of the strategic planning process for WSU Tri-Cities.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

3 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.                   Campus Walking Tour (optional)
3:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.                   Meet and Greet
4 p.m. – 4:40 p.m.                   Panelist Presentations
4:40 p.m. – 5:50 p.m.             Question and Answer

Panelists will include representatives from the K-12 system, higher education, municipal and local government, and business development councils.

The event is free and open to the public.
