Recreational Marijuana in Washington State: Washington as a laboratory for Public Policy Learning on a Grand Scale will be presented by Dr. Nicholas Lovrich, WSU Regents Emeritus Professor of Political Science.

The lecture will cover how marijuana became legalized as a recreational drug in Washington State, the development of public policy following marijuana legalization, a comparison of how Washington and Colorado have shaped their own marijuana legalization laws and the impact these decisions have on the rest of the country and a Q&A session with the audience.
