Associate Professor of Fine Arts and Director of The Guest House Cultural Capital Residency (GHCCRes) program, Peter Christenson, welcomes you to a (virtual) chat exploring the power of design as a storytelling method with GHCCRes 2021 Scholar and writer Lester Black. Lester Black (b. 1990) is a writer and photographer currently based in Wenatchee, Washington. He was most recently a staff writer for the Seattle newspaper The Stranger and he has written for magazines and newspapers in nearly every region of the United States. His work combines social science research techniques with narrative first-person reportage and focuses on class warfare in America, environmental destruction, smoked beers, osteopathic serial killers, and drugs.
