Travel Signatures
If you will be traveling outside the United States while your F-1 visa is in effect, you will need to follow certain procedures:

Change of Address
If you move to a new local residence, you must update your address within 10 days of your move. This is done in myWSU. Your new address will be sent to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security automatically via the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).

What is a Measles Hold?
WSU requires that all incoming students be immunized against measles prior to class registration. WSU Health and Wellness Services (HWS) oversees the measles hold. In order to get the measles hold lifted, students must either provide documentation of immunity or receive a vaccine shot from their Health provider. Do I need to arrange housing before I arrive?
You should arrange housing before arriving at WSU. Otherwise, expect to spend $80–$150 USD per night at local hotels. If you need assistance finding housing, WSU Tri-Cities provides off-campus housing at the Guest House (https://tricities.wsu.edu/studentlife/housing/)

May I open a bank account in the Tri-Cities?
Opening a bank account is fairly easy. There are several banks to choose from in Richland. Banking is one of many topics that will be covered during International Student Orientation. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the U.S. banking system before you arrive at WSU. This PDF contains some useful tips on making arrangements with your bank in your home country.

Do I have to pay tuition before I arrive?
No. Tuition and fees are due the first day of class. WSU Student Accounts accepts various methods of payment.
