WSU Tri-Cities is working closely with Benton & Franklin counties to provide safe, quiet and close to home study spaces for WSU students to use during the 2020-2021 academic year. These locations will provide students with a consistent and free Wi-Fi source and a quiet setting to study or complete exams.
*Only five students per time slot are allowed and masks are required. Strict disinfection protocols are conducted in each location.
Prior to traveling to a location, a student may check via the virtual desk to see if a spot is available. The spot will be reserved based on their anticipated arrival time.
Students may reserve up to two-hours, 24-hours in advance
Students can cancel a reservation 15 minutes prior to the reservation without it being considered a no-show.
A no-show will result in a warning. After the 2nd no-show during the semester, the student will not be allowed to book a reservation in advance for the rest of the semester.
Students must complete the daily WSU attestation and adhere to all WSU social distancing and COVID protocols while at a pop-up space. Students who fail to follow staff instructions will be asked to leave the facility and reported to the Student Affairs Office.
The spaces are primarily intended for individualized studying, downloading of materials, and test-taking. Group studying is allowable per social distance requirements. Quiet rules will be applied for any student using the space for an assessment.
