Industry Tours

WSU Tri-Cities Industry Tours

The Career Development Industry Tours get students off the campus and out into the companies that hire our graduates.  The tours are organized by college major and take students onto the work sites of several companies.

Who will benefit from an Industry Tour?

  • Freshmen and Sophomores will learn about industries to inform their career decisions.
  • Juniors and Seniors will network with professionals in their field.
  • Undecided majors can get a better idea of where they would be headed in different career fields.
  • All students will get an insight into career paths they may not have thought about before.

The goal of each Industry Tour is to give the students a look at day-to-day operations of a firm, talk to professionals in that industry, and experience a little of the daily work life of professionals.
