DESCRIPTION:The Junior Writing Portfolio is a mid-career diagnostic to determine if \nstudents¹ writing abilities have advanced in ways that can handle the \nwriting demands of upper-division courses and courses in their major. \nSuccessful completion of the Junior Writing Portfolio during the junior \nyear is a requirement for graduation. To meet the requirement\, students must \ntake a timed essay exam and submit a packet of three graded papers. \nRegistration is required for the timed essay exam.
