DESCRIPTION:Jump Start is a fully-funded\, two-week university experience where students choose between Math and academic reading and writing workshops. New students get to know faculty\, learn their way around\, and participate in campus recreation activities. \nJump Start helps students make the transition from high school to college – by the first day of classes they’ll have friends\, be familiar with campus resources\, and be prepared to work with faculty to meet their academic goals. \nThe program runs Monday through Thursday\, between Aug. 8 and Aug. 18. \nRegistration is required.

SUMMARY:ALEKS Math Re-Assessment
DESCRIPTION:To meet graduation requirements\, all students must pass an approved Math course. The Math placement exam is designed to help you fulfill this requirement by identifying the course that best matches your skills. \nAfter the first assessment\, all re-assessments must be proctored. You may retake the placement assessment up to four times. Before the first re-assessment\, you are required to spend 3 hours in the Prep and Learning module and an additional 5 hours in the Prep and Learning module before the second re-assessment. \nRegistration is required.
