DESCRIPTION:Learn how to apply for WSU scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year.  \nScholarship Workshops are geared to provide helpful hints and tips on filling out the scholarship application and writing the required essays.  You’ll also learn how  the WSU Tri-Cities scholarship process works and learn where to apply for other scholarships within the WSU system and outside the WSU system (locally\, state-wide\, and nationally).  \nRepresentatives from the Writing Center will be available during the workshops to assist and answer questions about the essay questions. \nNew and returning students should fill out the online applications by Jan. 31\, 2014\, to be considered for WSU system and WSU Tri-Cities scholarships.  \nwww.tricity.wsu.edu/financialaid-scholarships \nThe workshop is led by Jordyn Wright\, financial aid and scholarships coordinator. You can also visit the Writing Center for tips on writing a compelling essay for your scholarship application. \nThe last workshop will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 28.
