DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Research has shown that group work can be an effective way to engage students in learning\, as it allows them to collaborate\, communicate\, and problem-solve together. During this workshop we will briefly discuss different types of group work\, such as collaborative learning\, jigsaw activities\, and think-pair-share. However\, the bulk of time will be dedicated to discussing how to structure and facilitate group work\, how to manage group dynamics\, and how to assess student learning during group work.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
