The exhibition is inspired by the students’ experience during an artist retreat at the Meyer’s Point Environmental Field Station\, located on the western shore of Henderson Inlet in Washington state. \nThe exhibition will be open to the public April 15 – May 9 from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. on weekdays. \nExhibition is coordinated by fine arts student Norma Aguirre and curated by professor of fine arts Peter Christenson. SUMMARY:Order of the Engineer & Pledge of the Computing Professional Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Graduating seniors in engineering programs are invited to register for the upcoming Induction Ceremony\, where they will accept the Engineer’s Obligation\, a key tradition of the Order of the Engineer\, and receive the Engineer’s Ring. \nFor graduating seniors in computer science and related programs\, the Pledge of the Computing Professional Ceremony will take place alongside the Order of the Engineer Ceremony. Each graduating computer scientist who has recited the Pledge receives a brass lapel pin that spells ‘HONOR’ in ASCII code. \nThis ceremony symbolizes inductees’ dedication to upholding ethical and professional standards\, while recognizing the societal impact of their work and fostering a commitment to advancing the public good. \nWSU graduates and non-WSU professionals are welcome to attend.
