SUMMARY:Creative Writing Open Mic Night
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Writing Center\, The WSUTC English Club\, and the English Department/College of Arts & Sciences are hosting a two-part creative writing event during the month of April\, in recognition of National Poetry Month. \nOn April 9th\, the Writing Center will host a creative writing workshop\, to which students can bring their creative work for feedback regarding revision and delivery. \nAn open mic event will follow on April 17th\, at which students can share their creative work–whether that is poetry\, short stories\, nonfiction\, excerpts from novels or screenplays\, or self-written songs. \nPresentation Registration to participate in the workshop and present at the Open Mic Night will be available only through Qualtrics:https://wsu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eL18VRJYgMwyhPT \nPresentations are open to all students\, faculty\, and staff. \nRegistration Deadline: April 5 \nLight refreshments will be provided. \nFor more information about the workshop\, contact Ashley Benson\,ashley.benson@wsu.edu\, 372-7342. \nFor more information about the Open Mic Night\, contact Patty Wilde\,patty.wilde@wsu.edu\, 372-7032.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
