SUMMARY:Retirement Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Are you thinking about retiring?  Human Resource Services (HRS) will be conducting pre-retirement seminars to assist you with retirement planning.  Topics include: \n  \n\nRetiree Medical\, Dental\, and Life Insurance Enrollment Processes;\nMedicare and Social Security;\nVoluntary Employee’s Benefit Association Medical Expense Plan (VEBA MEP);\nAnnual Leave Payment;\nVoluntary Investment Programs;\nRetirement Income\, and;\nRetirement Supplementation for WSURP participants.\n\n  \nThese seminars are open to all Department of Retirement System (PERS/TRS/LEOFF) and WSU Retirement Plan (WSURP) participants.  You do not need to register to attend\, but seating is limited and will be on a first-come\, first-seated basis. \n  \nThe seminar will be held on Wednesday\, October 3\, 2018\, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm\, in French Administration Room 139.  \n  \nThis session will be available outside of Pullman via AMS Videoconferencing Services. The Videoconference on the Tri-Cities campus will be held in Floyd 209.   Additional site connections may be requested through AMS.Videoconference.Meeting@wsu.edu.  French Administration Room 139 is scheduled for video-conference for Pullman attendees. \n  \nFor employees attending via video-conference\, we will be referencing the following handouts: \nWSURP Participant Checklist \nPERS/TRS Participant Checklist \nPremium Rates for Retiree Medical/Dental Insurance  \n  \nPre-retirement seminars are offered monthly.  For future dates\, please visit the HRS Retirement Information website to view the 2018 schedule. \n  \nWe hope that you are able to join us. \n
