The Den

The Den is the on campus fitness facility that is free for students to use. Staff and Faculty can pay $100 for the academic year or $75 for the semester to use The Den and all other branches of campus recreation. The Den is closed for the summer, but will reopen Monday, August 22nd. The Fitness Incentive program will be returning in the fall; subscribe to The Den page on CougSync for more information!

Club Sports

Club Sports are a great way to get involved at WSU Tri-Cities, stay connected to the sports you love, build friendships, gain leadership and teamwork skills and balance your studies with fun. Current Club Sports that are offered include Rugby, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Soccer.

Men’s Soccer
Men’s Soccer will compete in the West Coast Soccer Association in 2016-2017. Contact team President Nick Bunn ( for more information.

Men’s Rugby

RugbyHome of the 2015 Northwest Cup 7’s Champions and 2016 Northwest Cup Champions!

Men’s Rugby will compete in the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference in 2016-2017. Contact team President Joel Larson ( for more information.



Women’s Volleyball
Women’s Volleyball will compete in the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation in 2016-2017. Contact Recreation Coordinator RJ Aubert ( for more information.

Outdoor Recreation

Beginning in the 2016-2017 academic year students will be able to check-out outdoor recreation equipment for a $20 annual fee. Equipment will include Stand-Up Paddleboards, Tents, Sleeping Bags, Backpacks and much more! The program will begin on August 26th. Contact for more information.

Intramural Sports

Intramural Sports will consist of weeklong tournaments with students competing against other students; and best of all they’re completely free! This year we will offer: 3-on-3 Basketball, 5-on-5 Basketball, 4-on-4 Volleyball, 6-on-6 Volleyball, Flag Football and Soccer. For more information about how to sign-up contact
