After being a graduate student, I’ve learned to enjoy keeping up on communication theories and media studies.
What is your favorite movie?
I certainly enjoy a good romantic comedy, so it is hard to narrow it down to just one. I also enjoy thriller and crime movies that are based on true stories.
What is your favorite thing about WSU Tri-Cities?
My favorite thing about WSU Tri-Cities is the small class sizes and the private school-like environment. Growing up I went to private school, which allowed me the opportunity to make close friends and know my instructors, which is something I enjoy seeing here at WSU Tri-Cities.
What advice do you have for future WSU Tri-Cities students?
Enjoy your college years! It truly is a wonderful time that allows you to grow not only academically but individually and professionally. Getting to know your professors is key! I’m lucky to call several of my professors mentors, which is something I think is priceless. My mentors have helped guide me on my career path well after I graduated from college.
What I recommend to do while visiting the Tri-Cities:
Enjoy life by the river! There are many walking trails along the river, with one right in WSU Tri-Cities’ backyard. Go to a sporting event! Watching the Tri-City Dust Devils is one of my favorite summertime activities.
