Max E. Benitz Memorial Library



The Max E. Benitz Memorial Library serves the Washington State University (WSU) Tri-Cities campus.

The Benitz Library includes an on-site collection of books, periodicals, and microfiche.

Reference and information specialists are available to answer questions and assist with library research when the library is open. Questions may also be sent to (Please be sure to include your WSU ID number in the email.)

Laptop computers are available to enrolled WSU Tri-Cities students. Laptops may be checked out for two hours. The laptops have built-in wireless and come with the full suite of Microsoft Office applications and other software. Laptops may be checked out from the library’s circulation counter.

The Benitz Library serves as a gateway to the U.S. Department of Energy Public Reading Room. More information about the Reading Room may be found here.

Thanksgiving break library hours are Monday through Wednesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Regular hours resume November 30th.

Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: Closed
