John Mancinelli, Ed.D., joined Washington State University Tri-Cities as Chief of Staff and Operations in July 2014. Additionally, Dr. Mancinelli teaches courses within educational leadership. He has 22 years of experience in the K-12 education system including the past 11 years serving as a highly successful administrator. Most recently he was principal of White Bluffs Elementary in Richland, Wash.
Dr. Mancinelli also has served as adjunct faculty to the International Principal Certification Program through WSU Pullman. At WSU Tri-Cities, he is highly involved supporting all aspects of our campus including teaching students enrolled within either the educational leadership principal preparation certificate and/or master’s programs. Dr. Mancinelli is well respected in the area and has earned the reputation of being one of the best and most collaborative leaders in the Tri-Cities. Many interested visitors have come to his previous school because of its reputation for innovative practices.
Dr. Mancinelli obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Columbia Basin College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in music education from Central Washington University, a Master of Science degree from Southern Oregon University, and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Washington State University Tri-Cities.
